Follow the Brown Rabbit...

In stories we've heard and seen, some followed a White Rabbit that led them to adventure. This time however, you've followed a BROWN one named Padawan. Pada lived in our house, hopped on tiled floor, ate under the table, urinated&defecated by the door leading outside, and outlived 11 others.
I name this Blog after him.The brown rabbit who shared the same skin color as his surrogate family.Resilient&adaptive.Adventurous in his own rabbit way. October 2002 - April 2007

The Secret

For the past few days, I have been conversing with different persons. This was due to the long weekend and the home visits that I've done. And for some reason, The Secret was brought up by two people in two separate conversations in a span of four days.

Prior to all these, I've watched one Oprah episode that focused on The Secret. In a nutshell, it tells us that our thoughts and feelings draw in real events. In turn, our thoughts and feelings come to life. Similar to positive thinking, it affirms that anything can be made possible as long as one believes in it hard enough. It's fairly simple actually and is meant to be shared until it's technically no longer a secret. I'm sure most of you have heard of it or have actually been doing it without knowing that it has been called The Secret.

I'm still about to watch its DVD courtesy of one of the nice mommies of my students. But actually I was already held the moment I saw that episode of Oprah. Looking back some more, one of my Titas already told me about it a long time ago but I just wasn't able to apply it.

But I know better now.

I'm currently surrounding myself with good vibes, thoughts of reaching my goals, and believing even more in my dreams. As of now, if you really want to know one of my simple yet major goals, it's to finish my thesis on time and to find answers to my questions about career decision-making of Filipinos. :) What's yours?

HAPPY THINKING, EVERYONE! :)

i am going to choose to pursue my specialty first, before i plan to settle down. i want to get married when i have my own money to pay for my own wedding, at the very least. :)

it's hard to be a doctor.. :p

i don't think i could become a housewife, or put my career on hold at this point. i'll have too much 'what-if's in life.

dear lala,

i wanna bug you sometimes to write often but being a *busy* girl like me, random posts like this is always more meaningful. =)

our *simple-yet-major-goals* are quite similar...and i strive and struggle everyday to cross it out soon too. but you are right on target, believing in our dreams makes it more *real*. =)

good luck, lala!

hugs & hi-fives,
*T*
