Turning Silver

I like it when people ask me how old I am. Or how young. Whichever way they ask that question, I get to tell them my age.

Some of my zipping friends asked me that question yesterday. I said "I'm 24 today. On Sunday, I'll be 25." And an entire conversation of what they were doing when they were 25 began. I like hanging out with people older than me. They have so much to say about their own takes on life.

There was a time when friends who were 3-4 years older than me would say, "Oh, you're still young. You're so young. Explore life." Those words stopped when I was around 24. I don't get to hear much of those advices anymore but I think it's not because I'm not so young anymore but because I've been exploring life more than ever and they don't have to remind me to do so. ;)
